Our Story
A little about us...
Stone Pizza opened in July of 2016 in Downtown Dartmouth. It seems like only yesterday that the key was turned at 79 Alderney Dr for the first time. The space, formally Hiltz’s Shoes and Caroline’s Bakery to name a few, would eventually become our contribution to the revitalization of Dartmouth’s Downtown Core.
We are so excited to take the reigns from Allyson Crooks and Andrew Lockyear and continue their legacy. Frank has always had a dream to own his own business. Frank has over 25 years of experience in the food industry and Megan with a background in marketing and safety is thrilled to be along for the ride.
We are thrilled to be part of Downtown Dartmouth; the business community here is made up of amazing locally owned, independent shops and restaurants and there is just something so special about it. We couldn’t think of a better place to be!
Stone Pizza is the crazy little idea that was created by a Dartmouth born-and-rasied mother of 2 who wanted to bring something different to the Downtown Dartmouth pizza scene. We are continuning this legacy as a couple with 3 children that live in this community.

Frank Yunace has over 25 years in the food industry and is passionate about anything FOOD. During his personal time you can find him doing hot yoga in Dartmouth. Frank lives in Dartmouth with his wife, Megan Tonn, who manages its social media and marketing. Megan is also a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP) and works in the consulting industry.
